Alice Cooper led the crowd in wishing Joe Perry well as the Hollywood Vampires took the stage for the first time without their ailing guitarist.

Perry, who fell ill during a concert earlier this week, is said to be in stable condition under a doctor's care. The Aerosmith co-founder reportedly suffered cardiac arrest not long after the all-star Hollywood Vampires began a show in Brooklyn on July 10.

Cooper and the Vampires lineup that also includes actor Johnny Depp and Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver's Matt Sorum resumed their tour last night at Fraze Pavillion in Kettering, Ohio. You can see fan-shot video of their take on Jimi Hendrix's "Manic Depression" above. As the band took a bow afterward, Cooper encouraged fans to join together in a rousing "Get well, Joe!"

The Hollywood Vampires canceled a scheduled performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday before resuming tour dates. The band is set to play tonight in Mount Pleasant, Mich. Their touring lineup also includes Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots, Tommy Henriksen from Cooper's band and Bruce Witkin.

Perry's Aerosmith bandmates rallied around the guitarist following the news of his hospitalization. Reports now indicate that he will rejoin the Hollywood Vampires later in this run of shows.

The Vampires released a self-titled studio album last year featuring guest appearances by Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney and Brian Johnson, among others. Artist proceeds were set to benefit MusiCares.
