Officials did not find a bomb after a threat was called in to the Henderson County Courthouse on Tuesday (April 14).

The courthouse and surrounding buildings were evacuated after a threat was called in early Tuesday morning.

The call was made by an unknown male suspect about 8:40 a.m., according to KLTV. After a preliminary search was performed by the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, officials with ATF also searched and did not find a bomb.

Employees have since returned to work.

The Henderson County Courthouse has been evacuated after a bomb threat.

According to KLTV, all building within a two-block radius are being evacuated after several calls came in to the sheriff's office.

Officials are currently making sure the courthouse is clear while the investigation continues.
