February 14 has come and gone. Now it's time to raid the candy aisles at Brookshire's and Walmart!

To celebrate both Valentine's Day and Downtown Tyler, The New York Store was heart bombed. People would decorate hearts with their favorite memories of shopping in The New York Store or support the revitalization projects in DT Tyler - and stick them to the walls. It was an event put on by the city of Tyler and it's pretty cool to see how many people wanted to share their fond memories shopping at the store.

The owner John O'Sullivan believes the building was constructed in the late 1800s and has that classic brick look Tyler is famous for. According to O'Sullivan, this building will become a pretty sweet location for loft apartments.
