The anticipation over Guns N' Roses "Not In This Lifetime" summer tour has just reached new heights. That's because not only are Axl, Slash, Duff and the rest of the band taking the stage, but they're inviting two big time acts to join in on the fun. Alice in Chains and Lenny Kravitz will each open select dates for GN'R during the run.

Alice in Chains have signed on to play shows between the June 23 tour opener in Detroit through the second Chicago date at Soldier Field on July 3. Kravitz, meanwhile, will join the run on July 19 in Boston and open shows through July 24 in East Rutherford, N.J. As you can tell by looking at the itinerary, that still leaves a number of shows on the run without a confirmed opener. Take a look at the tour itinerary below to see which stops include Alice in Chains, which have Lenny Kravitz and which remain without a named opening act.

Alice in Chains are reportedly working on new music. The band has already opened a show for Guns N' Roses in Las Vegas earlier this spring and will once again take the stage to support GN'R on one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year. As for Kravitz, the shows will give him a break from the studio where he's working on a new disc for a 2017 release. Speaking to Rolling Stone about his addition to the trek, Kravitz stated, ""I don't normally do gigs like this. But sometimes you've got to do things for the fun of it, for the experience. I'm looking forward to playing with them and celebrating them coming back together." Watch a video teaser for the tour below:

The Guns N' Roses lineup of Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese kicked off their touring on April 1 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Calif. The show preceded the band's spring dates in Las Vegas, Mexico City and as a headliner at the two weekends of Coachella.
