The T-Bone Walker Blues Festival is nearly upon us.

Some of the best blues musicians in the country will descend upon Longview in June for two days of music, revelry and remembrance of an icon of the blues world. The T-Bone Walker Blues Festival has been a mainstay of the area for more than a decade now, and it only grows each year. The festival first began in Linden, Walker's hometown, and has played host to a long line of truly great blues musicians including Keb' Mo, Jimmie Vaughn, Bugs Henderson, Guitar Shorty and Delbert McClinton.

This year's lineup includes Buddy Flett, Eric Gales, Jimmy Wallace & The Stratoblasters, Andrew Jones, Keb' Mo, Gary "Whitey Johnson" Nicholson, Roy Gaines, Ally Venable Band, Big Gus & Swampadelic, Edwin Holt's Red Clay Roadhouse and many more.

The event will also include a car and cycle show, guitar auction, guitar workshops and a 5K event run.

The T-Bone Walker Blues Festival will run June 3 and 4 at the Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview. For additional information, visit the event's website.
