One of the most surreal moments of George W. Bush's presidency happened when a Iraqi reporter threw a shoe at him during a press conference.

Love him or hate him, we can all agree that Bush showed excellent reflexes when he dodged the shoe, which was headed straight for his face.

Those reflexes got another test during Monday night's baseball game between the Texas Rangers and the Chicago White Sox. Bush was sitting in a front row box when a foul ball headed in his direction. While he did flinch a little bit, the 43rd president basically maintained his cool (as opposed to some of the other folks who were in the box) and allowed the ball to bounce harmlessly in front of him.

Read on to see a video of Bush's latest dodge, and the infamous shoe incident.

nolan ryan almost hit with foul ball

What's really weird is that 24 hours later, another foul ball was hit in the same place and almost hit Ranger's Hall-of-Famer and President,  Nolan Ryan.  Foul balls hardly ever hit in that area because it's protected by the big net that runs along the backstop.  For two balls to hit in that exact same area within 24 hours of each other is weird.  We're glad that George W. and Nolan were uninjured!
