Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge in Tyler, Texas is offering free admission for anyone on the spectrum along with their immediate family on April 22 of 2017.

They will be hosting their Third Annual Autism Awareness Day from 10 am to 5 pm, which will be loaded with educational and fun activities designed to be stimulating for children on the spectrum.

Day activities will include the petting zoo, face painting, a bounce house, raffles and food. East Texas organizations will also be on site to provide resources for all of your family's needs.

BONUS: The first 250 kids through the gate receive a goody bag.

Here is the schedule of Interactive Stations from Tiger Creek:

  • 10 AM - Llama walkabout and petting
  • 11 AM - Visual enrichment with our bouncy baby tiger
  • 12 PM - Keeper talk with servals
  • 1 PM - Treats and training session with one of their magnificent lions
  • 2 PM - Keeper talk with a Geoffrey's Cat
  • 3 PM - Treats and training session with one of their gorgeous tigers
