Of all the things that would make you say, "Only in East Texas," this might just take the cake.

Texas Monthly has a recurring series on its website called, "Meanwhile, in Lufkin ..." that occasionally spotlights the best of the crime report in the Lufkin Daily News newspaper.

And this story, we just had to share with you.

According to "Meanwhile, in Lufkin ...," a man called the police claiming he was scammed after he agreed to have sex with her for $25.

The woman allegedly approached the man outside of his home while he was gardening (at 10:30 p.m., no less), and she offered to have sex with him for $25. After he agreed, they went into the house.

He placed the $25 on the counter, but she took the money and ran. That's when he called the police and told them he called because she didn't "provide the agreed services."

Maybe not only in East Texas, but it's damn funny anyways. But for $25, dude, it's probably best you kept it in your pants.
