East Texas Family Offers $10,000 Reward for Conviction of Father’s Killer
It was April 1st when Jacky Wayne Johnson, better known as "ZZ" by his friends, was killed while turning into his driveway on Highway 64 east near New Chapel Hill. Johnson was riding his motorcycle. Authorities say the driver of the truck never stopped. Now his family is offering a reward if the person responsible is brought to justice.
Kody Johnson, Jack's son, is offering a $10,000 reward, out of his own savings account, for information that leads to the conviction of the person responsible for his father's death.
Officials believe they found the truck that was involved in the crash, but have yet to find the driver, or even the person who the truck is registered to. The last known owner of the truck is believed to have traveled to Mexico.
