If you're already growing tired of the lattes, how about churning some of that pumpkin spice flavor into some ice cream?

Dairy Queen has five new Blizzard flavors this month and that makes five reasons why DQ is winning the fall flavor battle.

As if the Oreo, Butterfinger, and brownie Blizzards weren't enough, our friends at East Texas Dairy Queen locations have added fall flavors to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Something weird happens to us in the fall.  We smell pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon in the air and then next thing we know we've jumped into a big pile of leaves vowing to wear nothing but orange and brown for three months.  Fall is something to be soaked up, and Dairy Queen is one of the places that will help us do it.

The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is September's Blizzard of the Month at DQ, and it's got real chunks of pumpkin pie in it.  Real chunks!  That beats a hundred other fall-flavored treats that just squirt some pumpkin flavoring in there to hop on the pumpkin spice bandwagon.  This has the actual pie.

Dairy Queen's other fall flavors include some real opportunities to overload our collective sweet tooth, and we couldn't be happier about it.  These might be a sign that the holiday weight gain starts in September, and we're okay with that.

Dairy Queen's New Blizzards for Fall:

Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough Blizzard - It's cinnamon and sugar swirled into vanilla soft serve with snickerdoodle pieces scattered throughout.  Smooth and crunchy cinnamon at the same time.  Go nuts.

Dipped Strawberry Made With Ghirardelli - This is strawberry flavor with big chunks of Ghiradelli chocolate blended with vanilla soft serve.  The best part is that last bite at the bottom when the chocolate chunks have settled and you have five or six of them on the spoon with a little bit of strawberry juice.  Yum.

Oreo Hot Cocoa - This must taste a lot like a fudge-dipped Oreo.  It's Oreo and cocoa fudge blended with vanilla soft serve.  Chase it with a little black coffee or milk and this will be the next food trend that breaks the internet.  Or just makes chocolate lovers really happy.

Reese's Outrageous - Talk about overload.  This is Reese's peanut butter cups, Reese's Pieces, peanut butter, and caramel blended with vanilla soft serve.  Overload is great, as long as we're aware and we've come to terms with it, right?  Okay then.

Pumpkin Pie Blizzard - And last but not least, the pumpkin pie pieces blended into the vanilla soft serve, with nutmeg and whipped cream on top.  This might be the reason we won't want any pumpkin pie when Thanksgiving rolls around.  We will have pumpkined ourselves to the max in September.

If the fall flavors haven't hit the menu at your favorite Dairy Queen location, they will soon.  Let us know what you think.  We have a ton of places to look!
