I've been waiting for this study for most of my adult life! A new study shows there is no scientific evidence to support the claim that beer causes weight gain - in fact beer has many nutritional benefits! Who knew?!

Now all this being said, you DO have to drink it in moderation, but nutritionist Dr. Kathryn O'Sullivan tells The Telegraph, says that swapping other beverages for beer might actually be the sensible way to diet! Beer has fewer calories per 100ml than wine, spirits and even orange juice! He says the image of beer being a high-colorie, high-fat drink is unfair. Beer contains more vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants and minerals.

Enjoyed in moderation, beer, like wine, can provide many essential vitamins and minerals and moderate consumption may also protect against many conditions such as heart disease, osteoporosis and diabetes.”
