USA Dream Team — Old or New? [POLL]

Kobe Bryant made a pretty bold statement a few days ago when he said this year's men's Olympic basketball team could beat the 'Dream Team' from 20 years ago. The 1992 team included players like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley and one Mr. Larry Bird. Larry responded to Kobe on the Indiana Pacers Twitter page.

Larry Bird posted:

They probably could. I haven't played in 20 years and we're all old now."

Michael Jordan said:

I absolutely laughed."

Charles Barkley said earlier this week:

Other than Kobe, LeBron and Kevin Durant, I don't think anybody else on that team makes our team."

There is no doubt in my mind the original 'Dream Team' is better and more talented than the new team. The 2012 team includes players including Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant
