Aircraft Owners and Pilot's Association, the largest organization advocating for General Aviation (essentially all flying except airlines) held an aviation summit in Ft. Worth this past weekend. I was there! I had the opportunity to fly a 1941 Douglas C47 and took advantage of it. A huge bucket list item!

In addition to the C47, was a real life version of Dusty Crophopper, star of Disney's movie Planes and other aircraft.

To Fly in this airplane yourself or another WWII bird visit Greatest Generation Aircraft.  They are a nonprofit organization so what you spend is tax deductible.  www.gga1.org
