Death at A&M Football Stadium

It has been reported that a construction worker aiding in the renovations of the A&M stadium has passed away due to an accident during construction. This is terrible news for his family and brings a dark cloud over the excitement of the improved field. 

The renovations of Kyle Field have taken a life.

Lindamood Demolition employee Angel Garcia, 25, fell four stories at approximately 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in nearby Bryan a short time later.

While the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Lindamood Demolition, and Texas A&M campus police investigate, this statement was made about the sad and unfortunate accident:

"On behalf of Texas A&M University and the extended Aggie family I offer our deepest sympathy to the family of the construction worker who tragically passed away," Texas A&M president, R. Bowen Loftin.
