The biggest ticket-selling band of the last decade is ready to get on the road again, and it all starts in Texas ahead of a new album, too.

Dave Matthews Band, according to a report in Rolling Stone, released its 2012 summer tour schedule Thursday after taking 2011 off. The band is also set to release its new album this summer, as well.

Everyone's favorite college jam-band kicks things off in the Lone Star State on May 18 in The Woodlands, followed by a May 19 show at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas.

Texas concert-goers are in for something special, too. The two Texas stops are the only concerts in which Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros -- one of my personal favorites -- will open for Dave Matthews. If you haven't heard of Edward Sharpe and Co., you're about to be introduced in a big way.

You can see the complete tour schedule at RollingStone.com. Pre-sale tickets for the Dallas show go on sale today for Warehouse Members, and tickets will be available to the public March 9.

In the meantime, enjoy some Ants Marching.

And, if this is your first time, I'm pleased to introduce you to Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. "Home" is always a great song to start with, because it's just, well, awesome. Have a listen.
