With a 12-4 regular season record, I think we can go ahead and have confidence in the Dallas Cowboys.  Sure they've disappointed us in the past and they've fumbled away chances and thrown late interceptions to lose games, but these Cowboys look different. They look determined, and unaffected by pressure or expectations.

There's a little controversy swirling about one player who will be on the field Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

It's Ndamukong Suh of the Lions.  He was suspended for a game after stepping on the leg of the Packers' Aaron Rodgers last weekend, but he appealed, and the penalty was reduced to a $70,000 fine, meaning he will be on the field Sunday against the Cowboys.  Don't worry Suh, I'm sure nobody will be paying attention to your antics.  The cameras and the fans will leave you alone and play in peace.  Mmyeah....right.  Should he be allowed to play?  One Dallas blogger opened a up a can of you-know-what on Suh, and let him have it.  Check that out HERE.

The Cowboys are in the playoffs for the first time since 2009, and as ESPN points out, they've only got one playoff win since 1997.  That changes on Sunday, right?  My prediction - Cowboys 31, Lions 23.

If the Cowboys get past the Lions on Sunday, they'll have to go play at Green Bay on January 11th.  Brrr.
