Shall I compare thee to a roller coaster? Thou art more steep in highs and dramatically low than a steel roller coaster ride. Yes, our weather is taking us for a ride this week.

KLTV 7 Chief Meterologist, Mark Scirto, describes a warm, wet and then cold week ahead.

Here is the Weather Where You Live... Just a few light showers will be possible for the rest of the day today and into the night. Nothing significant and most will stay dry. We should start off cloudy on Thursday with decreasing clouds throughout the day. Mild temperatures expected. On Friday, more clouds expected with increasing chances for showers and a few isolated thunderstorms late Friday/early Saturday morning. The cold front is slated to move through early on Saturday morning. This front will be very noticeable. Temperatures will be in the lower 50s as the front moves in, falling quickly into the 40s and then into the 30s by late Saturday afternoon. Middle to upper 20s are forecast for Sunday morning for lows, and with winds still fairly strong out of the NW, wind chills should be in the Teens for a good part of the night on Saturday/into Sunday morning. Plenty of sunshine is expected on Sunday and Monday with chilly mornings and warming afternoons. Clouds return on Tuesday with a few showers late in the day. Another front late Tuesday will bring more cold air to our area. Stay tuned.
