The City of Tyler released its plans for the proposed Arts and Innovation Center, a culture center for East Texas. Envisioned to be built at the corner of Broadway and Elm street in downtown Tyler, this will become the mega center of the arts for Tyler.
The City of Tyler is asking for your support and donations to create this amazing Arts and Innovation Center in downtown Tyler. This is thought to be something that can enrich all of East Texas’ lives.
This center will be built at an amazing location that can truly help downtown Tyler become great. “The S.A. Lindsey Building was gifted to the City of Tyler in 2010 by the R.W. Fair Foundation and the Fair Estate. It is located at 123 S. Broadway Ave. and is currently vacant. The structure has eight floors and more than 50,000 square feet of space. “ The plans for all of this great space are great.
With room for a large gallery space for exhibiting art, film making space, art studio space, performing and culinary arts labs, and so much more will fill this Tyler building with life and art.
