Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee will pay tribute to country music legend Johnny Cash in April. Cornell and Lee are both part of the lineup for We Walk the Line: A Celebration of the Music of Johnny Cash, a concert that celebrates Cash's music in honor of his 80th birthday, which would have been February 26.

Our family is honored to know that this amazing line-up of artists will gather together on one stage to pay tribute to the music and history of my father.  There is no doubt in my mind that, although he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will shine true on this night thanks to these inspired artists, said John Carter Cash.

Proceeds from the tribute show will go to benefit 'Charley's Fund'.  Charley's Fund directs money into the hands of researchers who have the best shot at developing a treatment or cure For Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Our goal is to cure DMD in time to save Charley's life and the lives of thousands of children like him all over the world.

The concert is set for April 20 in Austin, TX. For more information, visit JohnnyCash80.com.
