Mike Ditka's No. 89 will be retired by the Chicago Bears at halftime during during the Dallas Cowboys-Chicago Bears game on Monday Night Football.

Ditka played for the Bears from 1961 to 1966, coached the team for 11 seasons and was a member of the Bears last two championship teams, as a player in 1963 and coach in 1985.

He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in his 11-year playing career. Ditka was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988.
