In the name of all that is holy, my dreams have come true. In-N-Out Burger will be opening a location in Tyler soon.

Tyler Morning Telegraph was first to report that the company purchased about an acre of land "at the corner of Centennial Parkway and Broadway Avenue."

If you're unfamiliar, In-N-Out is a burgers, fries and shakes only kind of restaurant - honestly it's the first stop I make when I go home to visit California. I'm going to say it and I don't care who knows it: In-N-Out to me is like Whataburger to Texans. It's a point of pride for my home state (In-N-Out has nothing on Whataburger's honey butter chicken biscuit though, that's for sure).

This will be a prime burger spot at The Village at Cumberland Park. There have been no details announced regarding the opening date.

When it does open, however, best get yourself a double-double with animal-style fries and a neapolitan milkshake. You'll thank me later.
