Do androids dream of Bryan Cranston? This is a very real question we’ll get to answer in the near future, as the former Breaking Bad star and all-around TV treasure Cranston has signed on to lead a new sci-fi anthology series based on the writings of Philip K. Dick, and brought to life by none other than Battlestar Galactica alum Ron Moore.

Per Deadline, Cranston will both star in, and executive produce the new ten-part anthology Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick, put together by Sony Pictures Television and Channel 4. Produced by Ronald Moore and Justified alum Michael Dinner, each episode will serve as a standalone from a writer’s room comprised of both British and American writers.

The new series will “celebrate and illustrate Philip K. Dick’s distinctive vision,” which over the years has given us A Scanner Darkly, The Man in the High Castle, Minority Report, Blade Runner (from Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) and many more. In fact, Amazon’s Man in the High Castle producers Isa Dick Hackett, Kalen Egan and Christopher Tricarico have also signed on.

Says Cranston of the series:

This is an electric dream come true. We are so thrilled to be able to explore and expand upon the evergreen themes found in the incredible work of this literary master.

Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick will premiere on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, and eventually find international distribution by Sony Pictures Television at an unspecified date.
