Brr! East Texas is Dealing With Winter Weather Today

The nice weather we had on Saturday didn't last.

The weather across most of Texas took a sharp turn on Sunday, and travel became challenging with sleet, freezing rain, and snow in some places.

For Tyler, forecasters are saying most of the precipitation is behind us, but cold temperatures and bitter wind chills will stick around. There is a slight chance though that some snow and sleet could arrive this afternoon with another disturbance.

The high this afternoon is expected to be 31 in Tyler, and warmer tomorrow, up to 44.

And the weather warms up even more later this week. By next Sunday we should be around 70 again.  Come on spring!
