You’ve probably heard the expression “Walk a Mile in my Shoes." Well, this spring East Texans can walk or run to raise awareness for Autism.

The Annual Tyler Run for Autism will be held at Bergfeld Park April 13 beginning at 7 a.m. featuring a half-marathon, 5K, and a one-mile fun run or walk.

Activities include events for children and their families and local bands are scheduled to perform throughout the morning.

The Tyler Run for Autism is put on by DATA (Defeat Autism through ABA Therapy), a non-profit organization of the Andrews Center Behavioral Health Care Services in Tyler.

DATA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and their families affected by Autism.
