Another Week, Another Limited Time Sandwich Special at Lola’s

By now you've probably figured out that lots of us around the radio station have become big fans of Lola's Handcrafted Sandwiches.  So it should come as no surprise that we check out their weekly specials regularly.  And for a guy who's 50% Italian & was raised in the northeast part of the USA, THIS one caught my eye even more than most! 

Lola's Philly Pork sandwich - an amazing combination of Italian roast pork, provolone cheese (the sharper the better, IMO), & the not-so-secret ingredient:  sautéed broccoli rabe (pronounced like the name "Rob"), all served up on a hoagie roll.  If you've never had one, trust me - it's pure yumness!  Take it to the "next Philly level" & ask for hot peppers to be added on.

So let's recap:  since we first read about Lola's making the "Tops In Texas" list, there have been "first taste" raving testimonials on these regular menu options:  the Mob Boss, Reuben, Chicago Beef, & Mediterranean Turkey sandwiches.  Plus the special Barnyard.

Make your lunch plans accordingly - my mouth's already watering!
