Are you a numbers geek?

I'm not sure that I'm a geek (about numbers anyway), but I do like it when numbers seem orderly. I'm looking forward to Monday because it's 4-14-14. That's just crisp and tidy and lovely!

There's a phrase that goes around my house, "Mama don't like messes!"  I think that's where my love for tidy numbers comes from. If there's no pattern or double numbers it's messy. So maybe I am a numbers geek.

A new survey is out and they've come up with the world's most favorite number. Here it is!

It's that lucky number 7. The world says its favorite number is 7, according to a math blogger with The Guardian.

The number 1 didn't rank very high at all. It's not even in the top 10. My first daughter's due date was on the 5th and she came on the 1st, and I'll admit I was disappointed! Fives are better than ones.

But I love my daughter very much and she loves her birthday so now I love it too.  My second daughter was born on the first of a different month, and I think that's what I get for disliking ones.

My third daughter was born on the third of the month. I still wish they could have been born on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to keep things neat and orderly, but whatever. As you can see I've totally let it go.
