This article might make you crazy.  It sure is making the rounds in cyberspace today.

I like to think the world is full of kind and generous people like yourself, and then I read about people who are not that way.  Can you really control who goes where to trick-or-treat on Halloween?

After someone in a wealthy neighborhood asked Dear Prudence for advice on how to handle all the poor kids coming to the rich neighborhood for candy on Halloween, Prudence went off!  Check out some of the delicious response.

The column is called "Halloween for the 99 Percent" and in the letter, a woman says she lives in a wealthy neighborhood and on Halloween, "what seems like 75 percent of the trick-or-treaters are clearly not from this neighborhood. Kids arrive in overflowing cars from less fortunate areas. I feel this is inappropriate."

You know what?  If you don't want cute, creative, happy, costumed kids coming to your door on Halloween night, shut your light off.  They will leave you alone.

Prudence said she's one to spend an extra $20 on candy to make sure she doesn't run out, and that every kid gets enough.  Go girl!  And she added for the rich lady, "Stop being callous and miserly and go to Costco, you cheapskate, and get enough candy to fill the bags of the kids who come one day a year to marvel at how the 1 percent live."

Um....wow.  Well said!

This whole story makes me want to go to the store and buy full-sized candy bars to pass out to trick-or-treaters.  Or maybe sandwiches and chips, or hot dogs, or whole pizzas that are still warm.  Anyone with me?  We don't have to be rich to share.
