A Park Closes to Keep People from Taking Selfies With Bears

When you see a wild animal, is your first thought to take a selfie with it? It turns out that's dangerous, and the desire for bear selfies has one Colorado park closed.

It's not just Facebook friends and Instagram followers who are looking at your wild animal pictures. The U.S. Forest Service takes a peak sometimes, too, and they've issued lots of warnings lately about the need to knock off the selfies that have bears in the background.

A wild bear would rather poke you than like that pic, and he'd poke ya' good.

Near Denver, they've closed Waterton Canyon for the first time ever because too many people were getting in there and posing with bears in the background. New York has been cracking down on tiger selfies, too.

I think armadillo selfies are still safe here, so knock yourself out with that.
